HOW TO APPLY?

The application process is very simple with the online application form.

Go to Apply, register as a user, and fill in the requested information. Once completed and submitted an application number will be generated. Please mark each element of your application with this number.

Names should be included on a cover letter, or on the scripts cover page, but NOT on each individual page, as scripts and additional material are to be read anonymously.

Application Material

(All the materials must be sumbitted in English)

Writers

In order to apply writers must submit:

- One Page idea, which will be developed on the programme (TWO COPIES)

- One Writers Vision (tone, genre, audience), no more than 2 pages (TWO COPIES)

And as an example of previous work:

- A feature length script, with 1 page synopsis of the same script (TWO COPIES)

OR

- Two short film scripts (TWO COPIES)

OR

- one short film script, and and additional piece of fiction writing (TWO COPIES)

Finally:

-CV (TWO COPIES)

-Filmography (TWO COPIES)

Producers

In order to apply producers must submit

- A letter of recommendation from an established industry figure (TWO COPIES)

- A letter outlining career so far and future aspiration, including motivation for applying to SOS (TWO COPIES)

- CV (TWO COPIES)

- Filmography (TWO COPIES)

- Optional: DVD of a representative short or feature you have produced (2 copies)
