About Max
Born in 1977 in Luxembourg,Max Jacoby graduated from the London
Film School in 2001 with his first film, BABYSITTING.
He made two more short films, the last of which,
BUTTERFLIES was based on a story by British author Ian
McEwan and won among others the prize for Best European Short Film
at the 2005 Venice Film Festival. His first
feature film DUST premiered in competition at the 2009
Pusan International Film Festival.

Somebody's Wife
Yorkshire, 1978. A young woman finds out things about her
husband she never would have expected in her wildest dreams. Their
previously happy marriage is put to the test as she starts to
wonder who he really is. Set against the backdrop of the Ripper
murders, SOMEBODY'S WIFE deals with the question of
how well one can ever know another person.
