About Karianne

Karianne Lund has studied Literature, media and history at the university of Oslo before heading to the Norwegian Film school and graduating as screenwriter in 2004.

She has written both seasons of the award-winning TV-series AF1, A Hip Hop-Musical. The second season,  Rock vs. Hip Hop, premiered January this year on Norways national broadcaster NRK.

Knock Out

Iris, aggressive and confrontational, has served a long prison sentence for the manslaughter of her partner. We meet Iris 3 month after her release. Her older sister has been looking after Iris's daughter Julia, aged 12. Julia is doing well and Iris feels that Julia is better off without her. But gradually Iris comes to realize that all is not as harmonious as it seems. However - if Iris is to truly reach her daughter she has to confront her own hidden issues of vulnerability, commitment and love.
