The Bureau @ Edinburgh with Collabor8te

While Tristan Goligher was in NYC presenting his film WEEKEND directed by Andrew Haigh at BAMcinemaFEST, Valentina Brazzini was in Edinburgh launching the latest project from The Bureau. It's called Collabor8te, a new scheme for short film writers created with Rankin and DazedTV. Our new collaboration was launched presenting a selection of inspirational short films yesterday during EIFF 2011. Read about it on Dazed Digital.

D(eadline)-Day!

Last day of writing for the selected 2011 participants: after a week of woskhop last may,  a one to one development meeting half way through the work on their treatments, a few drinks and dinners and many many days of writing, the first module is about to come to an end.

We're grateful to our amazing 15 writers for having egaged so generously with the development process and we're looking forward to seeing the results!

Virag's Zomborácz script picks up a MEDIA award

This year's MEDIA European Talent Prize has been awarded to the scriptwriters Virág Zomborácz from Hungary and Hanna Sköld from Sweden for their film scripts for Afterlife and Granny's Dancing on the Table. Afterlife was developed through the first and second module of  SOS 2010. Read more...
